So how bout that convergence huh? I cosplayed as a female version of Loki Friday and Saturday. Dances-with-hipsters made my dress, and I made the scepter. She also was the female Captain America in the last picture. We’re going to another convention at the end of the month that should have a whole Avengers group so THAT’LL BE PRETTY SWEET.

In the mean time, I broke the blades on the scepter so I’m going to remake them with wood, engraving the details instead of painting them, and make a new light with a switch. I’m thinking about getting some horns made, a shoulder pad and then dances-with-hipsters is going to be adding a green sash on the underskirt, as well as adding the gold details around the flaps. She’s also going to add a button for the flaps because the kept folding in in themselves. Boo.

These are all pictures from my friends camera, I still haven’t looked at mine and other things… YEAH! I’m really pleased with how the scepter came out. How I have the batteries set up however makes my pull the wiring out whenever I want to turn it off and on (hence needing a switch). I wish I had taken a detail shot when I finished but.. I wasn’t thinking apparently :T

Also, those shoes killed. My feet still hurt. 3 days later.
